Job Description
The Procurement Agro Coordinator is one of two administrative roles at the Gothenburg, NE Grain Handling Facility. This role has a broad scope including, but not limited to, facilitating all inventory accounting, daily outbound logistics, inventory transfers, compliance program coordination, and customer order management. Other duties will include certification of lab samples and support for payroll and accounts payable.
Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:
Perform inventory accounting duties
Sale of waste material: facilitate execution of scalps contracts, including invoicing and reconciling with shipment records
Process & track corn receipts for payment against purchase orders
Lead site period close inventory accounting
Complete internal material transfers to PepsiCo production facilities
Lead communication with PepsiCo cost accounting on inventory transfers
Create purchase requisitions as required and process invoices for payment
Environmental, Health, & Safety
Participate on site Environmental, Health, and Safety team and serve as the backfill coordinator to this team with the expectation that this person become the lead coordinator when existing the current lead coordinator role opens
Logistics for outbound product transportation
Communicate with applicable 3rd party transportation vendors and align and schedule orders for loading
Act as the site lead for uploading production schedules and communicating with headquarters commodity ordering team
Ensure accurate daily railcar bill of lading generation
Communicate with and support information requests of respective receiving locations
Serve as central point of tracking and communicating company product orders and donations
Backfill and support other site duties including but not limited to:
Accounts Payable
Employee Payroll
Food Safety programs
All site audits as assigned
Travel Required < 5%
Ability to flex working schedule and working on weekends or holidays will be required on occasion
Individuals must have excellent computer, communication, and leadership skills.
Education and Certifications:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
